Are you looking for a new church home? If so, we encourage you to consider Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. Our church has been an important part of the community for more than a century, started by a prominent local man in 1891.

Because we want you to know us better, please allow us to share a little more about our church:

We are committed to New Testament worship. This means:

The preaching and teaching of the Bible are central.

Music and singing is true to Scripture.

Prayer, giving, and the gospel ordinances are emphasized and practiced regularly.

We have a strong commitment to generosity and understand that sincere, hardworking people often have unexpected needs. Therefore, we provide systematic support to Nashville Rescue Mission and the Bethesda Center (Ashland City, Tennessee), and our deacons are charged to minister to needs within our church and community.

We have a strong commitment to the next generation and enjoy a thriving ministry to children and youth. While many of these activities are fun, their primary purpose is to introduce young people to Christ, develop their Christian character and growth, and cultivate an attitude of service to others.

We are a family-oriented church. We encourage leadership in the home and work hard to build strong family ties. We provide opportunities for families to worship together, give training for more effective parenting and marriage, and offer counseling as needed.

We strive for holy living. Because Scripture calls us to holiness, as a church, we pursue right living and observe together the words of our Church Covenant.

We are dedicated to taking the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. We do this through strong personal witness, weekly outreach in our own community, and strong support of home and international missions efforts.

If you are looking for a church, why not give Bethel a try? We would love for the Bethel family to become your family.

Bethel Church is a member of the National Association of Free Will Baptists, one of the oldest Baptist groups in the country, with nearly 2,500 churches in the United States and mission works around the world.
